Iowa/ISU set for 3:30pm on Fox

"The South End Zone project is expected to be completed, improving capacity of the stadium to 61,000 and giving Iowa State fans one of the finest college football atmospheres in the nation." Hahaha yeah right. I'm sure it'll be right up there with Alabama, The Big House, etc.

It's not a night game because Kurt wants to lose all the time. Bet he just sits around counting his money and having Barta get him tea. He should give it up for the good of the fans.

To be fair, that does compare pretty favorably with some of the finest High School stadiums in Texas.
 
Nice time slot, assuming its regular FOX. I can recall when the TV folks really didn't care about this game at all, so I am happy that its getting some attention. It is, after all, typically a very spirited game that highlights the loyalty of Hawk/Cyclone fans across the state.

And, gee, it gives the TV folks a chance to highlight corn fields, hog farms, and guys with John Deere caps and a piece of straw in their mouths. This year I think they plan to show the bi planes flying in and out of the Eastern Iowa Airport and some Amish guys with horses pulling plows. Wahoo!
 
How much black and gold can fit in that stadium with all that extra seating they have now? I imagine it will be easy to get in there especially if UNI beats them week 1

I'm hearing the Clowns are raising season Ticket prices.

$600 for the season..........$500 for the Iowa game.....$100 for the other home games

Yeah, I guess hanging out here and reading all the threads about all the different topics being derailed into the same topic by the same posters over and over and over and over and over and over again is finally starting to rub off on me.
