Ok everyone prepare yourselves for this...Iowa wins by 3. thats right Im picking Iowa to win this one I just have a feeling they take it in a game that may make BTN's most unwatchable games of the year list...

I'm a Lick critic but would love it if he wins the rest of his games. I'm not to big to say I made a mistake. I hope we feel the same if the program continues its place at the bottom of the big ten.
I've enjoyed the effort in recent games and realize we are short-handed and young. The stuff I read about the new guys coming in is reason for hope. We have to be better with added depth and skills.
I'm still not convinced Lick is the right guy but I guarantee you I'd love to be wrong!

Hawkdoctor, while you have been critical, you have also been reasonable if you ask me. There are others on here, who have admitted that winning against Penn St. gave them no joy, as it meant Lick wouldn't be fired. Those are the over the top people who are being talked about. Not people who are frustrated with Lick, there is a big difference.

I'm a bit torn. I want to see Lick and his brand of girls high school basketball gone as much as anyone but I can't bring myself to wish losses on them. And even if they lose the rest of the games I have a feeling he's still going to get one more year.
Just as the Constitution is not a death pact, a coach's contract shouldn't be one for a basketball program.

Not being able to enjoy a Hawkeye victory, that is when you know that maybe your priorities are all messed up, since you consider yourself a Hawkeye fan.

Its not like I contradicted myself. I think Lickliter is a bum, thats pretty obvious. Thats still doesn't mean I want the basketball team to lose. The thing that gets to me is that it got to the point where I actually expect to lose and that was never the case before Lickliter got here.

If we match the effort of about half of the MSU game (ok, the effort all game was great so maybe if we match the success of half the game) we win this one. For some reason I've been very excited about this one. I hope we come to play because we have a shot to win a road game.
