Iowa home attendance down 6% in 2015

The home schedule will dictate a huge increase in ticket sales. Maryland and Purdue were teams that didn't stoke the fan base. Even Minnesota resulted in a sellout. ISU, Nebraska, Michigan and Wisky are all huge demand games.

Just to be clear the ISU game will be a sell out because fans want to see the beatdown. The other schools will sell out because they're good.

I think it is because we are all Iowans. It is a fun game to go to at either site. I used to not like having to play them but having experienced it and been out to Ames to watch the last 4, it is a fun game to go to and the weather is usually great. It just adds something to it when the opponent fans are in some cases your neighbors. Does it add anything to Iowa's strength of schedule. Not a bit right now, so from that standpoint it's a negative. We will see what their new coach does. He still has something to offer a kid in a chance to come to a Big 12 school and be a starter on a pretty big stage. I see they just signed some kid Alabama had offered and the kid committed to ISU and is enrolling early. I am guessing he was told he would have a chance to start at QB for game 1 next fall.
