Will that streak continue tonight? I think Iowa comes out focused. Tough loss Saturday, a lot to prove after that loss, going after win #20, seem to play better on the road, kind of a bad PR week. I think it sets up for a let down, but I feel Fran will have them focused!

This is what worries me. Seems this team is mentally weak and allows outside distractions effect them. Team could continue the downward spiral or hopefully they stop the bleeding and rally the troops that gets them on a hot streak to silence the critics.

OP....now you gone done it.....you just jinxed us....:)...That's right, gotta get a "W" tonight, get some confidence going into Thursday....finish strong...

And he hasn't missed a free throw all night. Thanks for nothing, Forever Hawk!!! This is on you. No pressure.

The Hawks have played better on the road this season, IMO. Minny is not playing near as well as they were when they came to Carver.

Hawks by double digits.

I think this is a pretty big game, a swing game. Hawks win, and they get a tad of mo back.
They lose, and they could very well go on a mini skid.
Definitely a winnable game. MN has been getting beat badly lately.

Well, Iowa lost last Saturday.. Before that they had won 2 in a row and 3 out of 4. So there really is no current downward spiral.. But I agree with HawksMN that tonight could be a swing game. Lose tonight, and I fear that could trigger a loss in Bloomington as well, and suddenly be looking at 3 straight L's and a 7-8 seed in the next Bracketology. Win, and we'll be OK.

Minnesota is struggling right now too, though. I'm not sure if that makes them dangerous, or easy prey. Depends on their mentality as well. I guess we'll find out soon enough which team has their heads on straight. Or both/neither.

Just read the Hawks are 3 point favorites. Gets me slightly worried although the Hawks are 4-0 against the spread after a loss this season.

Iowa is the better team and has shown us how they respond to losses 6 times this season. It's also comforting that this Iowa team seems to play just as well on the road as they do at home. No worries!

If basabe is still ailing they could be in trouble. He contributes a lot to the team. I would like to see what Meyer could do if he isn't able to contribute, but I suppose Fran will try and go with experience.

I don't think we will be in trouble necessarily but Basabe definitely makes it easier to win. He's having a very good year IMO.

IMHO this is a worry. We should not be playing equally as well on the road as we do in Carver. Good feeling to have on a road trip but definitely a concern at home.

How about this instead? We haven't lost to a team not currently in the Top 25 all season. Minnesota is not in the Top 25. No worries!

I am slightly confident at the Hawks chances tonight b/c 1) they are on the road and they seem to like the road better, and 2) no big pressure to win tonight (aka out of conf race)

It should be encouraging going forward, IMO.

There is only 2 games left at Carver, both against below average B1G teams.

Other than that its all road/neutral court games.

You want a team that plays well away from home come tourney time.

The announcers have been saying it all year, so I would have to be well down the list of people to blame. Blame Dakich! If Iowa does lose, I am not giving out my Twitter name!
