Iowa Hall of Fame Softball Coach Gayle Blevins resigns

Heard this on the radio last night. Coach Blevings coached for 31 seasons and NEVER had a losing season. While at Iowa, her teams never finished below 5th place in the Big 10. She took a few teams to the College World Series and coached a few All Americans. My wife worked with one of her teams for a year and has the Big 10 Championship ring to show for it. A great person who will be tough to replace.

is the softball program going to get a lift or a plop from getting a new coach

new blood maybe spark some new interest?
 
Any news on who the new coach is going to be? Iowa is wasting a lot of time trying to bring someone in.
