Iowa football

That was real competition they were 4-0, Iowa's was just more physical and made them look bad. Can't beat beating an undefeated team convincingly.

guys Minnesota was not real competition... sorry.

I bet Minnesota finishes with a losing record - I'm happy with the win but not going to pretend Minnesota's record is indicative of anything.
 
Dominating conference road win. Minnesota will probably struggle to get to 6 wins but better Iowa teams have lost to worse Minnesota teams. Outside of a bad decision by 15 and kickoff return coverage that was a really good win.

I agree with this. Have to fix the kick coverage before it costs us a game.
 
This goofer team is probably better than the 2010 and 2011 versions. The past has proven that winning up there is never easy. Those guys can beat anyone up there. The Iowa team did a great job, don't detract from what they did.

Would love to see a clean special teams game, and, finishing drives for TDs.
 
While Minnesota is not one of the top teams we're coming off a 4-8 season so I think it was real competition for us. That being said it's not like the competition coming up.
 
This was very, very good win. My only disappointment is I thought Minnesota was better but they are not good at all, so that concerns me a bit. Still nothing ever wrong with a road win in the Big Ten. GO HAWKS!!



Win next week we go bowling, which to start the season I thought wouldn't be possible. MSU game is huge IMO..

Every win this year has a series of people who says it isn't good enough. Sorry sir, but I've had enough of this c-wrap. Iowa wins by wins, not by style. This game was ours to begin with, just not enough punctuation.

This team is a extremely poor pass away from 5-0. For whatever its worth, we should get on board. I truly miss the days where we realized that we were a team pushing forward for every win, and none would be easy. Iowa represents us all, and no matter what I will be there to win every game. You know why? Because I have never once believed that somehow being us (no matter the coach) is an assumption of a victory.

Congrats Hawks....but also agree a little with above. MN May be ISU type bad. Next week will be a real good measuring stick. Looking forward.
 
Still worried about our pass coverage though, a good QB would have picked Iowa apart today. Also they have to figure out something on the kickoff coverage. The holes they left open you could have driven a small car through.

Both legit concerns. Against better passing teams with better WR like OSU and Northwestern, Iowa could be in big trouble. Thankfully the B10 doesn't have a lot of good passing QBs.
