CJ is the only Hawkeye that's gonna be drafted. Kirksey or Hitchens might end up as 6th rd fliers but I doubt it.

Kf has coached percentages for the last few years and it has backfired. I think BF is trying to change this and make him be more aggressive. I would rather lose being aggressive than being conservative. The last couple of years we haven't won the turnover or field position battle. I am hoping some of the talked changes no huddle more blitzes will change things.

Iowa's talent and number of draftees doesn't always lead to wins. Like many have said before and will continue to say, Iowa lacks talent and draftees at several key positions mainly on offense, qb, rb, and wr.

Agree. It's been pointed out many times. Shonn Greene was the only NFL skill position player I can think of from Iowa in the last few years. Was Kasper the last WR? Any there haven't been any Iowa QB do well in the NFL in like forever.

We typically get the "grinders". Guys that are willing to work and put in the time to be good. We don't often get a lot of the fancy pants specialty guys often found in the wr, rb, positions. They are going to the sexy pants programs like Oregon, USC, etc. this....kf designs systems that take advantage of that and we are not sexy but we have used our style to win. Now we are going away from that with the derp Davis offense which is totally not our style, thus, the results last year.

Are some of these rankings based on actually looking at film and talking to people or they just going on reputation? Hitchens got pulled in a game for poor play and is undersize, how is he on anyone's radar?
