I wonder how much respect Pat Fitzgerald has for KF. He will say the "right" thing publicly, but I wonder what he says privately. He will have that smug, arrogant look on his face knowing that all he has to do is keep it close and steal it late. If it plays out the way Rob predicts then Iowa will lose. Iowa has to dominate to win this. If the game turns into a chess match then it becomes another eye rolling defeat to Northwestern.
You remember a few years ago when Fant and Hockenson were running wide open in pass routes on teams that B Ferentz and maybe with orders from Kirk decided to hardly throw a pass on 5 yards against jNW. That was a team with a decent front 7 but they had really green dbacks but the hawk coaches never tested them. Crazy, hawks play some really bad ball against Fitzy

That game was right after certain members of Fant's family (his brother in particular) really started to cause drama about playing time and targets, in your honest opinion do you think any of the avoidance in that game and afterwards was "doghouse" punishment?
I definitely don't think there's any love lost between the staff and Fant and his family.
