The Hawkeyes were ranked Number One when they played USC in 1961, Ranked Number 1 preseason by Sports Illustrated.
In 1960, Hawkeyes were ranked Number 2 in the final Coaches Poll, Number 3 in the final AP Poll.

Yes, you definitely need to see it. It was basically Eddie doing all of his famous characters, which could have been a let down, but it did not disappoint.

Animal House was originally to feature a huge dose of the first wave of SNL performers, including Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray and Chevy Chase. John Belushi was the only main cast member who ended up signing on. He would film the movie on location in Oregon, then fly back to New York on Thursday or Friday to prepare for SNL.
It's also easy to imagine the role of Carl Spackler being cast with Belushi in mind. Unfortunately he was busy with Akroyd in Blues Brothers which eliminated any discussion of Caddyshack. Fortunately, Murray did a pretty good job with the role himself.

I see this game going one of two ways: KF keeps it close with a run-first, pass as needed attack on offense to eat clock and prevent USC scoring, but Iowa loses by a field goal or last-second TD; OR, the team could be so dialed-in that everything goes Hokks' way ala 2017 Iowa-Ohio State.
Hoping for the latter but expecting the former.
