I like the Collins mention. I've kept an eye in him for the last couple years thinking he had the body and enthusiasm to Get some game time. But I also liked what I saw from Alston in DSM. My other sleeper for this year is either Cameron Wilson or tevaun smith, I'm thinking one of them has a good year. I know they have both been mentioned before so don't know how under the radar they are so I'm just saying one of them will be one more established this year.

curious what everyone thinks of Powell chance to hit the field and make an impact this fall? He had great JUCO stats, I wonder how that translates to BCS and B1G.

Doesn't always translate, but we need all the help we can get at WR. Someone absolutely has to step up at the position this year.

was Abdul Hodge that tall in heels? Kidding. Iowa listed him at 6'2 but was he measured at 6' for NFL combine. Collins is listed as 6'0 so maybe you're right about 5'10" lol.
But yeah, 5'10" seems small in B1G although Chris Borland of Wisc and Brian Rolle of OSU are 5'11 and Ross Homan of OSU was 6' as was Eric Gordon MSU among others. Lots of DL/DE check in at 6' too.

He's pretty muscular though and if you are one of those hawk fans that says we need to play with more emotion, he has about the most I've seen. Alston could be good too though

Cordarrelle Patterson was a top WR in JUCO before playing at Tennessee and being drafted in first round by the Vikings.

The only one I had an issue with was LTP. I almost stopped reading at that point, because that's hardly going out on a limb. He's a starter who missed all of spring ball with injuries/recovery/etc. Of course he'll be back on the two-deeps in the fall.

I'm with ya there. In fact I have the BR app, and rarely use it. I just rewatched the Iowa/Nebby game the other night, and dead legs or not... LTP will resume his starting position. He can flip on beast mode, at will.
I will say that I am not full throttle excited, as many are, for Damond Powell. I have a more wait and see feel to him. If last year showed us anything, it's the offense isn't just picked up in a short period of time. I'm still holding out hope he'll pick it up quick enough tho.
Does anyone know when he hits campus?

Malloy looked good in the spring game. He is the kind of "all purpose" back KF seems to favor so would expect to see him.
MacMillan will play if healthy, no surprise there.
