Just looking for the rationale… I get that NW may not be great but if our defense can’t score more than 18 we lose… NW has shown ability to score points, Iowa has not

Fair questions, they did score 27 against Rutgers but with the help of 2 defensive touchdowns. I think Rutgers is better than Northwestern.

They also scored 27 against Nevada but Nevada is really bad, hell even Hawaii scored 31 against them and they show up on that low ppg chart I posted in another thread.

So I guess our answer is maybe, if the defense can score a couple of times.

Wow... What the hell do those Vegas folks think they know? I'll be surprised if there's 20 total points scored. I'm no gambler but I'm tempted to go hard on the under if the line is still close to that 31.. geesh

I'd like to think there will be time to throw most passes. I'd like to think the running game that we saw emerge against Rutgres will return. I'd like to think 3 full scoring drives and 1 or 2 sweet short fields. Easy as pie.
