Hard to believe after the performance last Saturday at home against a team that didn’t have much to play for we could be favored at Nebraska. Yea they have some major weaknesses and are starting a Freshman QB. They do have a very good RB

I would guess a dog fight in pretty darn cold weather. Glad I won’t be there

It's 6.5 on ESPN Bet, started at 5.5. I was surprised. I thought it would be a 2-3 point spread either way. Not sure if I have enough faith in our offense to bet Iowa. I would be ecstatic with an outright win. But I think the lines are an indication that the betting world sees our defense holding down the freshman QB. And, they stunk it up last week against Penn State.

Nebbie's offense is one-dimensional since Riola has been out. Iowa is stout on defense, but especially against the run. Nebbie's D is average at best and just got pummeled by PSU. Iowa struggled against MSU, yes, but MSU is still playing hard for their coach. It was a quirky game. It happens.

College football over the past several years has gotten more like the NFL in terms of parity. Not anywhere near that level, but way more so, especially since NIL and free agency.

most of the time unless it's an Ohio State vs Purdue type thing, you can use the phrase "any given Saturday" the same as you'd say "any given Sunday."
