Ott has wanted to play for Nebraska since he was a kid. He was very upset they didn't offer him after he got hurt, and took the Iowa offer. I think Iowa knows he will jump to Nebraska if they offer. Worth the risk... if Nebraska doesn't want him, we sure as heck do.
I mean, we shouldn't expect a Nebraska fan to not wear Nebraska gear to the game when showing up as a fan/recruit? I don't know why Nebraska isn't offering him?
I think the acceptance of an Iowa offer was both insurance and a tactic used to let Nebraska know he means business.

There was an article on here a while back. Ott did not receive an Nebby offer due to the fact that they were very low on available scholarships for this recruiting class. That is the main reason that he did not get an offer at that time.
