He's good. Except when he turns his vitriol on your favorite school/team.
If the indtical situation happened at Wisconsin, I promise you that this board would be ridiculing them for investigating and clearing themselves of wrong doing.

Just reported on 1620 the Zone's Unsportsmanlike Conduct, they are saying it was an internal investigation. fyi....1) You are incorrect. An outside firm performed the investigation.

An intense weightlifting exercise seriously injured the muscles of 13 University of Iowa football players in January, causing them to be hospitalized with symptoms of rhabdomyolysis, according to a special report presented Wednesday to the state Board of Regents.

It's still a conflict of interest IMO but it wasn't handeled "internally"
"A five-member faculty and staff committee appointed last month by university President Sally Mason said in the report that it could not pinpoint an exact cause of the rhabdomyolysis suffered by the players."
Looks like it was internal per your link. See the 2nd paragraph:
So some might say that there is a definite conflict of interest.
Either way, the more I read about rhabdo, the scarier it looks. Hopefully the players don't have any long-term effects.
