Iowa bowl bound but where?

I would not be scared of Alabama. We've had some success as an underdog against SEC teams.

Tennessee circa 2014 says hello by the way.

I don’t think Iowa wants Bama. Bama lost by a touchdown to the best LSU team ever. And a field goal in a rivalry game without their starting QB. They are still a damn good football team. Maybe my Hawk koolaid glass isn’t as full as others on here, but I don’t believe that ends well for Iowa.

I’d be shocked if Iowa would score on Bama barring a freak special teams play or turnover.

Tennessee 2014 was one example. As was Florida 2017.

Thats why I said we've had some success. We were probably underdogs in most of our Outback wins, our Cap One win, but we have had more bowl success against SEC teams than we have had against PAC 12 teams.

I say bring on Alabama. They are so used to the CFP that they may have a hard time drumming up enough inspiration to play "Li'l ol' Iowa" in some turnip bowl. Our defense backs have been known to rough pretty boy SEC receivers up pretty good. And i would put the over-under of the number of Akabama players skipping this bowl at about seven.
