Iowa bowl bound but where?

As a FL resident I am hoping for Orlando. I wouldnt mind the Holiday but they play on 12/27.

Thoughts?
 
As of right now it's the Citrus. I believe the only way it won't be the Citrus is if Ohio State got upset in the BTC game. I think Michigan is practically a lock for the Holiday as is Minnesota for the Outback.

WHere are you hearing this? I’d think Minnesota to the Citrus is a lock. I’d love to see Music City cut a deal and take Iowa.
 
We’re going to be in Clearwater over Christmas and New Year's so if the Hawks end up in Orlando, I know were we’ll be.
 
Lets run through the B1G to see what it MAY look like

OSU - Playoffs

PSU - Rose / NY 6

Wisconsin - Citrus

Minny - Outback

Now you're left with Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Sparty, Illinois,

Remaining bowls include/l Holiday, Gator, Redbox, NYC , Detroit

Michigan deflated and beat IU, Iowa and Sparty
 
Seems to me that Iowa is either going to the Gator Bowl (Taxslayer) or the Holiday Bowl. I'd like to think Iowa gets San Diego since they haven't been there forever but who knows.

It's my opinion but I'm factoring in recent bowl appearances. Michigan was in the Citrus Bowl in 2015 and Minnesota was in the Holiday Bowl in 2016 and has never been in the Outback.

I think Wisconsin is in the Rose Bowl regardless if it wins or loses the BTC. PSU should get a NY6 bowl game as well.
 
I had said we were in the driver’s seat before we played Wisconsin. Had we taken care of business we would be discussing the upcoming game against Ohio State.

I also am hearing rumors of Iowa in the Citrus bowl agains possibly .................. drum role.......... the hillbilly’s of Tuscaloosa. Just a rumor though.

If we're in Orlando, it's Alabama based on today's results.

I would not be scared of Alabama. We've had some success as an underdog against SEC teams. We've gotten our doors blown off by most PAC 12 teams dating back to the early Hayden Fry era.

The Holiday Bowl would likely feature a PAC 12 team. I'd rather take my chances with an SEC team, because we have a better track record there. If it is Holiday wouldn't it be something if our opponent was Arizona State.

Talk about certain things coming full circle!

If it did happen I think our defense could do well especially if their starting QB is out for the game. Now our offense is another question.

Michigan has been to the Citrus a couple times recently and it would depend on how much that comes into play.

I think Iowa fans would jump on Orlando. It's been nearly a generation since we last played in that bowl. They would also jump on San Diego. We last played in that bowl in 1991. Think of how many transplanted Hawk fans have retired to that area since then, let alone the ones who would be looking for a winter escape.
 
I'm Guessing the Red Box bowl in the Bay area. Michigan is going to the Holiday Bowl. Indiana will get one of the Florida bowls since Iowa and Penn State have been in too many of them for the sponsors.
