Iowa Attendance Reounds off All Time Lows

in the article is a picture, of a game and some players, one of which is "lil' lick"......my how far we have come with our point guard play when you see Cartwright on the floor.......

no ill-intentions to 'lil lick', just an observation......(and how quickly I forgot about him even being on the team......)

Some things are better left unsaid.

Amazing that we had fallen to that point. I was really hopeful when Lick was hired and thought he could turn it around. What a huge disappointment he turned out to be.

Iowa was in the top 25 nationwide in attendance from 1981-2006. We can get back there after a 4 year hiatus,if not this year, then next. Lick darn near killed the program, but we aint dead yet.
I think Fran timed it well....program at rock bottom last year...only way to go is up!!
If the economy continues to rebound, and the Hawks rebound next year...the fans will be back!
Now....lets go beat IU,then knock off Wisky and Minny next week at home...the place should be rocking!

Good to hear more fans are coming to Carver. Hopefully the win against MSU will convince some more people to come out and watch a game.

I'm thinking that the Wisky game might have pretty good attendance. Especially if we pull out a win on the road tomorrow. Wisky and Indiana are both winnable games, IMO.
