Megan broke a school record with 100% shooting.

But Hannah missed a shot. This team seems to be settling in very nicely. They gave uo too many Offensive rebounds in the 1st half, but mostly had that fixed in the 2nd half. Coach Bluder was subbing for players who made careless TO's pretty quickly and those were down from last game. Not much to complain about here.

Did Fran get Kriener some minutes last night? Been hearing good things in practice and Nunge sitting this year should free up some time.

They did give up 16 offensive rebounds. Was it due to missed 3pt. shots traveling along ways or just plain not boxing out. Definitely need to work on that for sure.

The offensive rebounds were a mix of issues. The Iowa post players did not switch to block out mode after defending and Iowa had a guard as the primary weak side rebounder. They move Meyer over a spot in the zone and she is a bit taller than Lexi and did better helping to clean that up. We'll see what that looks like going forward, but Doyle's return should help that particularly if they use the zone as much. Also the WKy post was pretty good at following in on missed shots. She is going to be a really good player.

It'll be nice to get Kathleen back. It's been awhile since we've had our team at full strength. If they can stay healthy and get a good rotation going they will most definitely contend for the B1G title. I believe the can fix the rebounding going forward and with the perimeter shooters nailing threes like they are it's going to make things so much easier all around. That's what was missing last year.
