Before the season, I said that we will have to find little victories this season, like a great game by a freshman even though we lost. We’ll see if they can learn to play defense this year.

You are correct. Can't expect big things from the Hawks this year. I'm really surprised at the lack of play by Amanda though. Thought she'd step up this year but it doesn't look like she's going to do to much.

To be fair UNI is pretty good this year and the Hawks are very inexperienced and lack discipline. I agree with you though it's definitely not a good sign. Hopefully by conference time the Hawks will have their shit together better.

Iowa seniors provided great leadership again today. Mac Meyer was the leading scorer with 14 points, and Amanda Ollinger had 10 rebounds. It's also nice to see Alexis Sevillian back in action. She is a redshirt junior. Next up Princeton in CHA arena on Wednesday.
