Iowa at Minnesota Will Be on Friday Night Next Season

If you were wondering, I know you were, Iowa plays host to Iowa State the week before heading to Minneapolis. Northern Illinois comes to Kinnick the week after Minnesota.
 
That’s definitely a disadvantage for Iowa having a short week to prepare after Iowa State. Minny plays all mighty Tennessee Tech the week before.

It will also make it tougher for Iowa fans to make the trip.

While I’d love to rip on Minny for this I’m sure it comes from the B1G. Tons of TV money from a Friday night game with limited completion.

Honestly it frees up my Saturday so from my selfish perspective it works great. But I really don't like it for those that have HS football going on. I know KF isn't a fan of doing it so it shows that even he doesn't have all the pull in regards to scheduling. I'll be on my couch that night regardless so I'll be fine by it but I'm sure most will be up in arms over it
 
Ohio St had to go on the road for a Friday night game against the reigning West champions. They did have a bye the week prior and NW turned out to be dud this season but if the B1G is going to make Ohio St hit the road the a Friday night game, everyone else is going to have to do it too.

At least its a short trip for the Hawkeyes in a place they've won more than they've lost.

It's not my fault you don't understand that B1G money is the reason Iowa has a lot of the things they have now. It's not from just playing football only on Saturdays because its "what you want", "the way it should be", "B1G should act like the B1G" and "insert your bad idea here". Time to live in the now dinosaur.

I have viewed quite a few threads in the last month that have devolved into completely pointless pissing-matches, and it seems like you are always involved. It might be time to re-evaluate how you interact with others online.

You sure read a lot into what isn’t there just because you want to be a Jackass. I get it.

You must not get it that Iowa has all those things before the Big10 decided to play on Friday nights
