Iowa at Indiana on the 27th?

None. This game will be played after the IL home finale, only fair way to do it. IMO only.

As long as Iowa isn't put in a situation where they have to pull some crazy shenanigans just to make a quick turnaround for its next game, and can stick to a reasonably normal schedule, then I'm OK with whatever.

I saw posted earlier in this thread, 4 games in a week if we play on the 27th.. P!ss on that. Why should Iowa have to play a brutal week like that when it's IU's arena that's falling apart, and they declined a perfectly reasonable alternative to get the game played tonight?

Set it up for Tuesday, March 11th. Indiana would then have to play in the BTT on Thursday. F those guys, they wouldn't play in Indy, so they should have the short turnaround. Hopefully we would have a bye on Thursday and would play again Friday in the BTT.

Sounds good to me.

I just don't think the BIG is going to want the controversy of taking a home game from a team. Having Iowa deal with a crappy stretch of games would be much easier for them to handle.

I would be ok with this. Can you imagine a scenario where Iowa would play this game for a chance at a share or God help us all an outright B1G title on 3/11? Hawk fans would show up in droves.

Best idea that puts the game at Assembly Hall.

It's not fair to the other 7 teams playing Thursday. The Iowa-Indiana game could easily impact all 4 games as it relates to seeding. No team could start prepping until after the Iowa-Indiana game. The teams and fans wouldn't even know the time of their games. This will almost certainly be played before the end of the regular season.

Creates the same disadvantage for the majority instead of 1-2 teams facing a disadvantage. I'd be okay with that too.

True I guess. IU should really just have to eat poo in this case, they failed to see structural issues with their building, its their deal, and they turned down a way to get the game played reasonably.
The Conf., in fairness, just needs to make IU eat this one. Tough bananas.

Indiana is actually hurting themselves with all of this. Iowa can go 11 deep and play 4 games in 7 days and still go 3-1 or 4-0. Indiana will likely be somewhere between 0-4 and 2-2.

Indiana really f'd up not finding a way to play that game tonight. If Bankers Life couldnt swing it on short notice, they wouldnt have offered. Both teams were there, the schedules worked for both. TV or not, it should have been played tonight.

That's not 8 days. It's 7 days...plus a few hours if you really want to be that specific.

Saturday 11AM against Wisky
Sunday Off
Monday Off
Tuesday 6PM at Minnesota
Wednesday Off
Thursday TBA in Bloomington?
Friday Off
Saturday 7PM against Purdue

That looks like 8 days.

Thursday 8 PM at Michigan State
Friday Off
Saturday 7PM against Illinois

That also looks like 8 days.

Wisconsin - Plenty of time to prepare and should win

@ Minnesota - Changes don't impact this game...should win

@ Indiana - Prep already done and deeper rotation...should win

Purdue - Home game and PU's only road win was at IL...should win

@ Michigan State - Plenty of time to rest and prepare

I don't see this schedule negatively impacting us...benefits us against Indiana IMO.

It's 7 days and 8 hrs, therefore closer to 7 days than 8.

It's not that difficult.
