I do know that central Iowa has now become Cyclone country. For every person I see wearing Hawkeye gear, I see 5 wearing Clone gear. You see a person wearing Hawkeye gear and it is immediate eye contact, it is like “hey, I am not alone” kind of feel to it.

I disagree with this. The only suburb of Des Moines that I feel this is the case is Ankeny, are right down the highway from Ames. I see a lot more Hawk fans in West Des Moines than Clowns.

It was obvious from day 1, Fred's goal was the NBA. Anyone who was surprised was indeed nuts.

Then many of your Cyclone brethren are nuts because they convinced themselves he was staying no matter what NBA team came calling.

I do agree that if some 2nd tier power 5 school comes calling that the smart move would be to stay at ISU. However, you are batshit crazy if you think he turns down Ohio St. You better hope that worn out look on Urban's face goes away.

I think OSU has other ideas. Plus, I just think the Browns job would be more interesting to Matt. I truly believe Matt is happy at ISU. I mean he could play for a Big 12 championship.
