Every year we have one WTF game where you just shake your head and are happy with the results. The game is so perfect, the message boards light up with "why can't we do that every game? Fire Ferentz."
Last year, 40-10 vs. Nebraska. Team could do no wrong.
2 years ago, 40-10 at #20 Northwestern
2014, 48-7 vs. NW
2013 38-17 at #25 Nebraska

I'm really thinking this is the week. The Outlaw will be back, we're pissed, healthy, it'll be a perfect fall day, cold, water will be frozen, and ol' PJ won't be able to row his boat and we'll win big.

FTR, I'm also "that" Cubs fan that has thought for so many years that THIS is going to be the year. :)
 
I have lost all confidence in this teams ability to score points, unless its a defensive TD. All our games are blood pressure busters. If we beat the Rowers, it will be the defense.
 
Are we seriously favored? How in the hell are we favored? This team is planning winter break in their heads already. Free money to take the goofers.

Because we can’t punt or run the ball. If Stanley suddenly gets good on 3rd and long then we should cover. But, assuming he doesn’t we’ll see plenty of 3rd and long followed by bad punts and Minny needs 1-2 first downs for a FG.

This is my plan for Saturday. I just can’t invest my time all the time for college football. I love it. Love it. But I love time with my kiddos way more.

Iowa offensive line now starting 2 freshman tackles!! The running game is kaput, done, toast. MN will load the box like every other team has done and BF will say "Oh, yeah? Hold my beer and watch this!" Then call multiple consecutive dive plays with AW that go nowhere followed by a 31 yard punt.
I think Iowa wins but doesn't cover. Hawks win 10-3. Only TD is scored by the defense.

I agree that this is the week that the offense explodes. Every average year with KF we see the offense plod along, frustrate fans, players, etc and KF allows the offense to go for big plays and we look competent, even good.

That shuts us up for a week, builds our confidence and then the next game we go right back to what we used to do. And it'll be against OSU, so we may get blown out.
 
My Gophers are not good, but at least we can run the ball. A couple more years of PJ's recruiting and we'll own you guys.

I do agree your Goofers are not good.
But at least Iowa can PASS the ball. Own us? Haven't done that since the 70's.

The only time this offense looks decent is when we play a defense bad enough to make them look decent. The offense has looked bad in every single game this year. Struggled against N. Texas, Illinois, ISU most of the game. Northwestern and MSU go without saying, PSU outside of a couple plays. This is not a good team.

Go away. The only thing Minnesota is good for is fishing and having sex in bathroom stalls.

By the way, thanks for the goal posts.
 
Iowa is -7 right now (-115). I think its a solid bet. Minnesota's defense is garbage and they don't throw the ball very well.
