A bit high, as i think right now they are no where near the 8th best team in the nation.

I'm not sure I would call Indiana garbage. We started slow, played well, then ended poorly. Minnesota and Penn State, that was dumpster fire bad.

Play like garbage, still win 1, narrowly lose on the road to a hot legitimate top 20 team, and lose on the road, by 3, to a poor team who played it's best game of the year....and are still 8th in the country.
Yes, the Hawks need to play better, but to be voted to 8th after losing 2 of the last 3 shows the Hawks body of work is pretty respected.

Anybody think its still possible to finish in the top 5 by conference tourney time? 5th maybe.
If we win out, yes. However, at this point winning out will be a tall task.
A team can turn it around for the good just as quickly as they can turn around for the bad. A week off and a good opponent coming to your place is a good way to reset. I think if they win out, they can get as high as 3rd realistically. The only way we jump a team now is by them losing tho so it's all dependant on that.

Absolutely. We're #8, so that's only 3 spots away. And at the rate Top 10 teams have been losing this year, especially. Gotta win out, though.
My bigger question is whether Iowa still has a shot at a #1 seed. If we win out AND win the conference tournament, I think it's still possible. On that note, my focus is knocking out Wisconsin and moving on to the next game. One game at a time. Yes, cliche, but that's my mindset.
