Think this is generally hilarious but what is not at all funny is that Steele Jantz worked Iowa last year en route to something like 44 points. Our D-line broke through so many times only for Jantz to run away and complete a play for positive yardage that should have been a loss of yards.

Let's not get too cocky until after we win this game this year. The glory days of Hayden Fry and dominating the used-to-be red headed step child that was IA state are well in the past, as of late our beloved Hawkeyes have failed to show up and show that they want the game more against rivals ( F-ing Minny the past 2 years and IA state during the entire Ferentz era). The days where we can just show up and beat ANYBODY (that includes UNI a.k.a 2009) just by stepping on the field are long over. Unless you have some 'super fan' predictions like Hawkeyes 147, Clones 3 or questions line ' is it a mini Ferentz or a full size Ferentz?' then you have clearly not been watching the product that has been on the field the past several years.

All that said, GO HAWKS. 10-2 this season with both losses coming versus the Michigan schools

There are so many statistics and rankings like this, NFL player count, coaching tree, blah blah blah. It's all really cool, because it shows that Iowa is a big time program with a huge fan base. Yet it also proves that we should be seeing a better on-field product.

We Definitely deserve a better product. The whole gameday should be better. But it has steadily declined overall, IMHO. Personally, I would just like to enjoy the entire gameday package, and not have to pay an arm & a leg for it.

This isn't based on face value tickets which would be a better indicator considering that's all the U gets out of the tickets. The Nebraska and ISU games really help raise the average stubhub ticket price (or whatever online service that article used)
