Iowa 4th in AP poll, 6th in Coaches

In other words, stayed put in the AP, fell 1 spot in the coaches. Indiana now ranked in both polls

Also, ALL of Iowa's losses have come against currently ranked teams: Maryland (6th), Dayton (15th), ISU (13th), Notre Dame (19th), Indiana (22nd). None of those losses were at home and they were all by less than 10 points.

I read somewhere that there is one coach in particular that ranks Iowa WAY down on the list every time they vote. No, cannot confirm; no, no name was mentioned. Just a curious piece of information...

And Iowa has beaten:

#8 MSU (X2)
#17 Purdue (X2)

And has beaten receiving votes Michigan and Witchita St.

And, Iowa will still have a chance to knock off another ranked team (Indiana) and a surging Wisconsin team.

But, Iowa will need to shoot better from the line, get their bench production back, and rebound much better down the stretch. Mildly surprised Iowa did get punished as much in the polls this week. But, it helped that a number of other teams lost as well.
