Iowa 4.5 favorites over Indiana

They are coming off a loss, they are at home. This is going to be a dogfight. We have guys moving all over on defense. Ramsey has been pretty good against pretty much everyone.
It will be interesting to see how they attack our corners and linebackers in the passing game.
If we make the stupid mistakes we have made the past two games...we don't win this game. If we play clean...I think we get the victory. For once, it would be nice to make a mistake on the other side of the field. Damn, 3 of the last four have been inside our ten yard line. That's not good.

Two young corners for us scares me. If, and it's a big if, we can get the run game going and keep Indiana O off the field I see us winning a close one. Iowa 28 Ind. 24
Like you said, Iowa needs to play a game where they don't turn it over. Don't give Indiana two freebies like they did against Minnesota. Indiana's D is average so iowa should be able to move the ball.

11 am - Duece. Usually no likey cuz this set up reminds me of a game at NwU. However, looks like a beautiful fall football day, so, I'm going to stick by prediction of 31 - 26 Hawkeye W.

On paper metrics, Hawks should win this by 10-12. Reality says 4.5 is the perfect line.

It will be interesting to see how we do. Playing on the road is tough in the big 10. Playing two in a row on the road is tougher...I know in the NFL, consecutive road games moves the line a bit in favor of the home team. College not as much.

Hawks ALMOST NEVER, win and NOT cover the spread. So either Hawks win by a TD or more, or straight-up lose. They will NOT win by 1-4 points. Never do. (We suck at winning nail biters)

I could be wrong but I don't think indiana is any good. They had 30 rushing yards on 31 attempts against Michigan state. 18 of those attempts were by the QB...for 13 yards.
They beat Rutgers by 7 and couldnt score in the second half.
QB has 11 tds, 5 ints and 1361 yards pass in 6 games
Stanley has 9 tds, 4 ints and 1153 yards in 5 games
So if stanley has just a mediocre game on Saturday he'll have the same passing stats after 6 games.
