Iowa -3 over ISU

Lots of hate in this post, chief. I can almost see the blood vessels in your forehead pulsating from here.

The people getting worked up are the haters. I haven't even been posting until for some reason you call me out as some KF defender.

Listen pal, I've been enjoying (most) of your posts for about a year and a half now, and you're definitely a KF-supporter.
And I have to say, you're the most lucid of the bunch. Which is why I don't understand why you want to give him yet another year to "prove" himself. Isn't 15 enough??

If supporter = Not for firing KF, then yeah I guess I am. He is moving in a different system, has a new OC/DC. I think giving him last year and this year is reasonable.

History says the hawks will be favored whenever they play ISU. Iowa has better facilities, talent and coaching. There are a 100 other reasons why Iowa will win on Saturday, I just can't think of one right now

man, are you sour.
I'm going to start calling you LemonHead on this board.

I have been reading ankle's posts for awhile and the best word I could use to describe him is "snarky." Usually just posts some critical response in one sentence. I can't stand posters who post things like "fact," "derp (whatever that means)," accuse people of "trolling," or accuse people of being someone else, or ask the moderator to ban someone, or act as if they are sitting at the cool kids table in the cafeteria just because they have 10000 posts. Or lastly, are evasive with their opinions.

I'm with you, JG. Snarky posts are chickensh1t. It's emblematic of one who is overconfident and self-satisfied to the point of being a laughingstock. A big ignorant fish in a tiny aquarium, if you will.

I totally agree.

Chomp*****Snort*****That's football*****yada, yada, yada.

Well if KF works the team out today instead of resting them it wont help.

ISU always shows more emotion that the hawkeyes. Never understood that.
I have to imagine that the emotion and intensity will be there Saturday. This is one of the most important games of KF's coaching career.

The quote you pasted seemed to be a critique of Rhodes and his hyper rah-rah style, and at the same time an endorsement of KF's emotionless, robotic style. Did I read you wrong?
I get that you hate Rhodes - that's well documented here. But to suggest that his style is somehow inferior to KF's zombie approach is laughable.

Looks at Rhoads' record in November. That theory has more merit than you give it credit for.

or accuse one person of having multiple screen names, or alts, as may be the case with you and one other gambler in this thread.

"The coach who tries to get his kids sky-high emotionally," the former dual major in psychology and sociology atMichigan went on, "is the coach who's always gonna have that big letdown during the season. He's the guy whose kids are gonna get knocked off by that last-place club. You keep giving the kids that needle every Saturday and that point's gonna get awfully dull. Anyway, all kids react differently. You can tell one kid something and you'll get him jumping right out of his shoes with enthusiasm, and you tell another guy the same thing and he'll look at you and say, 'Hell, you're a little balmy.' My own concentration is on football, not emotion."

Well his coaching or approach doesn't seem to be working real well the past few years because we've lost to a heck of a lot of inferior opponents. I'm not ready to toss him out with the bath water yet, but the coaching staff has had some significant short falls the past few years that has has led to a lot of losses that should have been W's.
