Fitting for today with Jon Millers article about all the records this kid is breaking. I was stocked for the years to come after watching the Amani Hooker video but dang this guy has me even more excited. Will be interesting to see if he get's redshirted with our depth at RB.

The problem is that Wisconsin's number one running back recruit from New Jersey is no longer committed to the Badgers. Bucky probably will make a strong push for this kid. Monona Grove is less than ten miles from Madison.

Hey, 55, go re-watch Eric Graham's highlights if you haven't already. We certainly will be stacked at RB in the coming future. Young, Graham and Akinirabade will be excellent for us. And, they are different type backs. No duplication so they're all needed.

Much like Noah Fants is (or was) with ND, Young appears to be down the list of fall-ball candidates for WI. It would appear they have others ahead of him based on recent commentary. WI has an uphill battle with Young since they have built very little relationship with him to date from what I've read vs. Iowa's ongoing efforts with him since nearly a year ago.

Young is no Noah Fant. Noah has been open about the fact he is going to take other visits. Young has consistently said that if Wisky comes calling he will say thanks, but no thanks. Same with any other schools for that matter.

I'm aware of the reported differences in how each has reacted to other offers as you mention. The point of my post was they are both fall-back candidates, one for WI, the other for ND.

Though there is nothing to date that leads any of us to believe Young is entertaining anyone other than the Hawks, many a recruit has said repeatedly they are solid only to flip by signing day.

I watched the Young tape.

Dude, is Iowa recruiting his team mate -- you know, the white WR that always chasing him down and catching up to him to celebrate with him in the endzone?

We can't get this kid's signature on a LOI soon enough.

A 10+ win season will solidify a lot of recruits, and probably bring a number more. If we get the right guys...Ohhhh boy.

Keep winning Hawks.

Iowa's recruiters need to keep making contact to keep the relationship fresh and emphasize the success of Iowa's O-line and reiterate how young they are and how that bodes well for the future.

Young man, if you come to Iowa, you will be running behind a NFL line.

LOL. Well, if he's a white receiver, you know he's at least on Kirk's radar.
