This team reminds me of the 2010 team. Down the stretch, whether they're playing the team in first place or last place, regardless of if its in Kinnick or on the road, I'll believe it when I actually see it. Until then I wouldn't bet on Iowa beating anyone in the B1G.

I dont like it when Kirk's hawks are favored. It is almost like KF thinks the hawks actually have the spread as points on their side of the scoreboard and he coaches cautiously when it is the other way around.

Illinois' defense is much worse than Purdue's. They're inability to pass should play right into Phil Parker's hands in designing a defensive plan. If Iowa's heart is in this they should cover the 15, maybe win something like 38-20.

Yep, I like Phil Parker as a coach and Dee Coord but like Norm Phil's defenses are worst against a mobile qb with a decent passing game ala Mcsorley blough and thorsen.

The hawks shut out maryland's no passing attack offense. I dont know much about Illinois' offense but if they cant pass the ball very well and dont have a Randel El then I like our chances.
