Iowa brings out the best in everyone. Or, something like that. These guys in vegas have an amazing way of picking games. Its scary. I would not be shocked to see Iowa win by 10 if Iowa decides to attack them the way ND did.
But how many times in a row are we going to see Iowa's opponent look very beatable the week before and then see a different team show up the next week (PSU and PU).
That is ludicrous.
If I were a gambler(which I am not) i wouldn't go near this game.
I’d bet everything I could afford on nw to cover
I don't know the exact stats, but Northwestern under Fitz has covered spreads as well as anyone in the country.
It will be interesting to see how long that line stays at ten. It screams Northwestern plus the points.
This would be a good time to pull out one of those games. You're correct about your statement. But he also has a history of teams getting into a rut where they play just good enough to lose. Remember 2010 and 2014? Especially 2010. It didn't matter if was Wisconsin, Northwestern, OSU, or what was left of Minnesota. They did just enough to lose each week.I wouldn't......If the game was in Evanston I would agree. This has a KF special written all over it. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Iowa plays lights out and wins by double digits. When everyone doubts Iowa, KF pulls out one of these games, he just does.
Iowa is like 8-1 against the spread this year (for Purdue and PSU it depends when you got in). We’ve easily won every game we’ve been favored.I don't know the exact stats, but Northwestern under Fitz has covered spreads as well as anyone in the country.

I wonder if our loss yesterday will take some of the luster off what would have been, and leave Northwestern a little flat? They all but clinched the west with our loss to Purdue. Here comes Peppermint Patty Fitzgerald, he's owned Kirk recently, but I agree with what trj said above
