Interesting episode of HBO's Real Sports where ISU men's basketball is mentioned

Way to leave out certain info. Here's the whole paragraph from that study which you pulled your info.

"NCAA statistics were used in the study. The institute reviewed the six-year graduation rates of each school’s freshmen class that enrolled in 2006-07, and then it calculated a four-year class average (freshmen classes of 2003-04, 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2006-07) The APR data does not include data from the 2012-13 academic performances of the teams in the study, but instead uses the four-year data from the 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11, and 2011-12 academic years."

So basically they are following kids that entered school long before Hoiberg was hired. (He was hired 2010.)

Before people jump to conclusions, maybe it would be wise to see what he numbers look like for Freshmen coming in 2010 and after. Then you might actually have a better indication of how well kids perform academically under Hoiberg.

Well even if they don't graduate with their fake majors, at least they aren't thugs. I hear they only smoke weed and watch cartoons up there.

I love the "black graduation rate" argument. Like schools are purposely keeping black athletes from graduating, but are only helping the whites.

According to Troy that would be three words.

Very close, but I think you mean syllables. Most people don't know that Troy is an accomplished poet and has composed a number of collections under a pseudonym. He'll be ISU's poet laureate by 2020.
