Fair enough, but poor or avg players don't make NFL rosters.

He hasn't made one yet. Camp is all about hard work and hustle, NFL coaches love that as it pushes all the players. (Bo certainly has that, that's why Kirk played him too early).
If he makes a roster, good for him. Great story for a hard working Hawkeye.
