is a new radio show on WSCR(Score 670AM) hosted by Gerry Dinardo every Friday nite from 9-11 PM...live radio.
Really a good listen. Dinardo can really let his hair down and be very blunt and honest...and opinionated.
Tonites show he opined:
- that Tate Forcier embarrassed himself on the bench last saturday,sitting there with a towel over his head on the bench during the game. Gerry actually was a bit sympathetic,and thought the michigan coaches should have gone over and talked to him to save him the embarrassment he was becoming.
-Says that he thinks the next 5 national titles will be won by power traditional offense teams like Bama,Iowa,Wisc, and even Florida,who has abandoned the spread.
- Had Saban on who opined that the Big Ten will love the divisional setup and championship game setup. Says it keeps more teams and fanbases involved chasing two titles vs one..and the championship game is great prep for a national title game.
-Had Tressel on and he talked about their scheduling of Texas,Miami,Va Tech,USC ect is all part of their recruiting strategy,as kids want to go play at the famous houses in college football.
- Dinardo weighed in on the bad helmet to helmet call on Persa of NW last week...bad call,but the new rule is good, and thinks they should go to video replay to check on calls like that.
-Dinardo says Michigan is going to have a far tougher time getting to the Big Ten Title game than OSU..due to the West being tougher and all their tough rivalry games thruout their season,starting wth ND,MSU,OSU,and even Minny...throw in Iowa and Neb...Richrod in trouble.
