White, Olaseni and Gesell are battling injuries. Walton (Michigan point guard) is out for the game on Thursday (Walton has a foot injury and is out indefinitely).

Iowa has a chance Thursday. They really need to bring their best effort to steal a road win

White and Olaseni look fine. What is Gesell's injury?

Hyper-extended elbow from practice last Monday.

Iowa guard Mike Gesell (right elbow) and center Gabe Olaseni (left ankle) were limited this week after suffering injuries on practice Monday. Olaseni had few issues despite wearing a walking boot earlier this week. He scored 12 points and grabbed five boards. Gesell had more issues with a hyperextended elbow. He attempted just one 3-pointer and his range was restricted by the injury.
“He couldn’t really shoot a 3,” McCaffery said. “That’s why he kept turning down 3s, and he could shoot a pullup, and he could get to the rim.”

Michigan has a lot more problems than Iowa health wise. I think the line should be close to a pick'em. If Iowa can D the 3 and pound the ball inside (need to hit some jumpers to open things up) they will be fine. Big "if" though.

Gesell has a hyper-extended elbow (right arm). Day to day, but did play with it against Wisconsin (couldn't shoot threes, according to Fran).

I didn't know that. I thought Gessell played very well against Wisconsin. Loved his footwork in the paint with Kaminsky on him.
