Indiana vs Michigan

I'm a big ten guy, but the big ten playing defense is a bit of a misnomer,at least this year only about 4- 6 teams play defense. Everyone else has issues.......maybe that changes when the weather gets cold.

Robinson goes down because he was actually touched (tackled) for once. Folks, this guy is going to run into a steel curtain when he plays against us. I'm not concerned. Am I impressed with his numbers? No, not really and here's why. The defenses he's played against rank 80th or lower - 82nd, 94th, 112th, 107th

Of course you wouldn't be. Why would you? It's not like they gave you all you could handle last year at Kinnick without nearly the offense they have now. But you are justified since he is the only QB in the history of the game to ever play bad defenses for the first 5 game. He also didn't play for over 3/4 of one game. I could understand thinking you will be able to limit him but to now be worried at all about him is ridiculous. I will gaurentee you Norm Parker isn't thinking that.

If he can't find running seams against us then what is going to do? He isn't a passing QB. He is good but his stats are padded because of the opposition. If he can't run wild against teams, he isn't going to beat them with his arm. He is a RB playing QB.

This is why I don't buy into all the "Heisman Hype" until teams start conference play. Stanzi's numbers are pretty good too but Iowa hasn't played against great opposition either. But Arizona is by far a better defense than any team Michigan has faced yet and Iowa is playing another good defense tonight. Stanzi's numbers were stellar in Arizona given the circumstance his team was in (278, 3TDs). So until Michigan plays a defense without v@gin@s, I'm not going to jump on the bandwagon. If he lights up Iowa like he has been doing so far this season, I will be a believer.

Don't get me wrong, I don't buy the Heisman hype right now either. I am just saying that it isn't a simple as saying you will just stop him. I think he is much better throwing the ball than it looked like today. This is the worst he has looked. Sure, maybe he will look this bad the rest of the year now, I have no idea. The point is, with his speed, he is always a worry. Michigans Oline is also very very good. He isn't doing this on his own. I do worry that he gets hurt beyond repair. For the most part, he doesn't take a lot of clean hits but he takes so many little hits that he get's dinged up.

I think Michigan, with that offense, can beat anyone. I also think, with that defense they can lose to anyone. I think for pretty much every game the rest of the year the offense will have won the game or the defense lost it. I don't see the offense losing games and I certainly don't see the defense winning games.

I disagree with this, but I have also watched every game and I have seen him make every throw. Not neccesarily consistently, but he has the ability. I dare Iowa to drop back with your LBers.
