Indiana trying to go three for three?

Yesterday Indy gets 4* DE David Kenney to snub Iowa, a few hours ago they got Wisconsin 4* DT Darius Latham to jump ship, and now reading some tweets between David and 3* LB Iowa commit John Kenny, he sounds like he is wavering. What is going on at Indy to pull this kind of coup?

These kids are visiting Iowa this weekend no?

I understand the temptation of wanting to stay close to home.. just look at Aaron Bailey.

But, it doesn't help that our first commit (who is now a de-commit) is recruiting these kids now.

John is getting beaten over the head by a handful of other Indy recruits and they are sharing this photo.

Any kid that would choose to play football at Indiana over Iowa deserves to play in front of half empty stadiums and struggle to finish with 6 wins.

Now that Indiana has a capable coach, Kevin Wilson-Former OU O-Cord, they could definitely be trending upward in the conference. The key will be getting a defense to show up to go along with their O.

I hope we smash them this year and rub it in all those 17/18 yr olds faces! JK but I do hope we smash them.

Rivals and Scout don't have Kenney or Latham committed to Indiana yet. What's going on is the same thing that goes on at any doormat school that gets a young coach. There is a lot of enthusiasm the first few years and they get a few recruits they normally wouldn't have, but then the losing starts and they don't get those recruits anymore. There's still time for them to change their minds, but they will still have to play Wisconsin, OSU, Penn State and MSU every year. Indiana doesn't have the fan enthusiasm to really build that program.

I'm assuming the only reason those two sites don't have the switch listed yet is because they haven't officially talked to either recruit to confirm it. Go to twitter and look up Kenney and Lathum and read their tweets as well as their tweets to John Kenny. They have basically became the head recruiters for Wilson.

Yeah, it's probably only a matter of time before they confirm it, but wins and losses go a long way. They can all talk up how great it would be to play together, but if Iowa plays well the rest of the season and Indiana stumbles to 3-9, that could go a long way towards changing minds.

So are they both Indiana guys coming to the game this weekend? If so they will never play at a place like they're gonna see on Saturday night if they choose Indiana.

David Kenney is officially decommitted from Iowa and he is no longer visiting per Rivals. Rob Howe tweeted today that John Kenny is still lined up to visit this Saturday so he's still committed at the moment.

Oh so he'll go visit schools while committed to the Hawks but wont now that he is committed to Indiana. We could hire his Mommy so she could tuck him in at night.

Get J. Kenny into Kinnick this weekend for a night game.. and give him the Indiana comparison..

...If that doesn't keep him, nothing else would.
