There's a few matches that will be good to see. Against Molinaro not only did Ballweg give up weight, but he was wrestling one of the strongest guys in the weight class. If Brands leaves little Ballweg there he'll wrestle Kurt Kinser. Kinser was a 157 last year so he is big, but he rolls, scrambles and wrestles with some funk. I'd take little Ballweg in a match like that. We know for sure he'll fight his @ss off, he's been too good not to be in the line up for sure.

At 157 St.John has Paul Young ranked 5. This match is essentially to lock up the #2 seed at Bigtens. That would be huge if St. John could wrestle Taylor in the finals instead of semis. St. John isn't a good backside of the bracket wrestler. His conditioning doesn't hold up well.

197 and Hvy will both be big matches. Both weights Indiana has a wrestler ranked higher than us. If LL could turn it on he could definitely place higher than expected at NCAAs. 197 isn't a loaded weight this year. The problem is the 197 in the Bigten is solid. LL has 5 big ten wrestlers ranked ahead of him, but they are all beatable for LL.

And Raising has to beat a ranked wrestler for once. He can't be satisfied losing to ranked wrestlers 0-1 or 2-1. He could have taken down Wade for the win on Sunday, but waited too long to shoot.

Indiana actually matches up with Iowa pretty well. They will be favored in 4 matches. Iowa should get bonus points in the other 6 matches so it shouldn't be close but Indiana might win a few.

I hope they prove me wrong, but I just don't see St. John or Rasing winning. Rasing rarely if ever shows any signs of offense against higher ranked opponents. I'm expecting another 2-1 or 3-2 uninspiring match from him. St. John whether it's injury or conditioning, just hasn't put it together this year. He hasn't been wrestling with the sense of urgency you'd like to see. I think he goes down to Young in a close decision.

I would kind of like to see Mark Ballweg wrestle 141 and have Marion go up and take on Kinser but I don't think that it will happen. I think that Matt probably gets the nod at 149 but it's tough to say.

I could easily see Rasing losing tomorrow too but he's ready to break through against a highly ranked opponent and I hope it happens tomorrow. I don't see St John losing. Outside of the Taylor match he has been starting to pick it up a little and I think that he is just flat out better than Young when he is on.

I hope the lineup we had against PSU is set in stone now for the rest of the season. We don't have many more matches before Big10s and the guys in the lineup need every match they can get.

Matt doesn't have any advantage over Mark in my mind. I think if Brands had more confidence in Mark battling with Molinaro then he'd have more confidence in Mark battling with anyone at that weight.

If there is any thought to having Marion go 149 then this is the dual to try it out as Indiana is weak at 141 and has a pretty good guy at 149. If Marion has trouble with Kinser then it is clear you put him at 141 for the remainder. I'd then put Mark at 149 and hope he can win a couple of the last 3 dual matches and get some wins at big tens and hope his work at 141/149 combined can get him a wild card should he not earn an auto bid.

Now if Montel is your 141 and your sure, I'd go with Mark at 149 because if he could beat Kinser it would definately help him get a bid later. Matt is not likely to qualify no matter what.

The horsepower Marion was displaying against PSU leads me to believe he might do alright at 149. I say try it out tonight with a fairly decent opponent and if it doesn't work, have Marion at 141 and Mark at 149.
