Indiana defense

Just checked the stats, they are dead last in scoring and yardage a game. But, 1st in offensive yardage.

No reason we can't put up 50 this week. The question is do we have the ability to win in a shootout?

Good chance the D holds them down but if they start rolling and we have to trade TDs all day I wonder if we can with a very hobbled CJ.

If the game is in the 50s it's probably more to their advantage. This week is a control the clock kind of game. Don't get in a shootout and keep their offense off the field as much as possible.

We have yet to play a QB who pushes it down the field like Nate Sudfeld. He may sling it 40 times.

Throw out the statistics for this one.

Indy wants - in a BIG way - to defeat #10 in the nation in front of THEIR crowd.

CJ needs to heal up and be ready. The box will be stacked again.

Defense - Mr King and Mr. Lomax, get ready for a pass attack.

Right now the hawk defense is holding teams offense's down in yardage and scoring. I started that thread about Maryland scoring 28 against OSU and 30 against a Penn St defense that just shutout Illinois.

The hawk dee as you know only gave up 7 so I have a good feeling Indiana scores less than normal.

I like the hawks chances.

IU will throw it all over the field, and will score some points, but Hawks defense will make enough plays, and Nate is not a running qb so helps Hawks, and offense will have it way with IU, and Hawks will be moving to 9-0.
