Indiana at Michigan

Who will you be cheering for tonight?

With Indiana at 1 loss and Michigan at 2 losses, I think I've got to go for Indiana. They have a tough schedule left and LeVert will be back soon for Michigan.

Once an for all you do not want your top competitors winning games on the road. I want Mich to win to give Indy their 2nd loss and Iowa already has a win over Mich.

Let the hawks be the best road team as they already are with 2 road wins at Purdue and Mich St.

If the hawks can hold their own home court advantage and win a few more on the road then they win.

Dont let Indy get a road win.

I'd like to see Indiana get exposed in this game and have their confidence shattered. A road win over Michigan would get Indiana noticed on the national level and the team confidence that they can win it.

Michigan has 6 very lose able games after tonight. If they go 3-3 they will be out of the race.

I'm not too worried about either team just as long as Iowa takes care of it's own business - both IU & MU will lose some games - but I've got to root for Michigan in this one. As stated, you don't want IU picking up extra road wins, plus they are the only other team with only 1 conference loss.

Not really a Hoosier fan, anyway.

Honestly, I'm probably more concerned about MD.

Both teams have tough stretches ahead, much more so than Iowa. I'm rooting for Michigan. Id like to see Iowa hold their own at the top of the big ten for longer than 2 days

I want Indiana exposed. I'm pulling for Michigan and will be watching. Maryland is the only realistic threat to Iowa for the regular season championship IMO...assuming we stay healthy and take care of business.

I would be watching too, except that it's on at the same time as the Iowa State game. Gotta use every chance to watch real basketball.

I will say, however, that Michigan worries me (along with Maryland) more than Indiana. We go to their place. IF you count that as a loss (which it's probably a 50/50 game at best), you could say that we're tied with them. They will also get LeVert back this week, which is scary. Not nearly as worried about Indiana as I am Michigan. Would be nice to get them out of our way before we have to play them. Totally understand everyone that's cheering for Indiana to lose, and by tonight, I might be too. Just my take on things.

Michigan would have to be as good as Iowa was in the first half just to get to 14-4 which I doubt they could do. I think theit most realistic good record is 13-5. Same as Indiana. If Indiana wins tonight they have a good shot at 14-4. I think if Michigan wins tonight it will be a 2 team race between Iowa and Maryland.

Agreed. I think Michigan and Indiana have their toughest roads ahead of them, while Maryland plays tough teams, it seems they're all at home.

I think the only time I could see myself rooting for a Crean-coached team is if they were up against the Clones.

Which is one of the reasons why I said in my previous post that I may cheer for Michigan tonight. Can't get myself to cheer for the whiny, pouty baby, with the team that acts like a bunch of whiny, pouty babies.

Over/under as to how many times he adjusts his tie during the game. Or the camera zooms in on his face w/that goofy a $$ look that he has. Go Michigan...

not sure what you guys mean when you say you want to see IU get exposed, Indiana is for real and a dangerous bb team. They have a real good chance at beating us at their place, but I do think Mich will beat them tonight.

We don't need Indiana beating good teams on the road. Gotta root for the home school here, and that is Meechegan.

I can only speak for myself. But I'm saying they haven't beaten anyone in conference play...and only Notre Dame in non conference play. They have played 2 teams with a winning conference record. They split with Wisconsin who is 5-4. They beat Ohio State who is 6-4. Notre Dame is ranked 31 on Kenpom. Wisconsin is 53. Ohio State is 68.

They have not played Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Purdue or Michigan State. They won at home by 6 against Minnesota who is 0-10 in conference play and number 189 on Kenpom.

So Indiana has done nothing to suggest to me that they are going to contend for the Big 10 championship. Win tonight and they will get my attention. Lose tonight and it reinforces what I think. Indiana has a good record because they haven't played anyone. It's not because they are a legitimate Big 10 title contender.

I will agree that they are dangerous on a given night. They can make 3s and they have Yogi.

Go look at their tournament resume. I don't believe Indiana is "for real" and that is what I mean when I say I want them exposed.
