Seems weird, it we were truely "neck in neck" with the other 7 schools not sure why we wouldn't do the in-home visit.
It says we cancelled on him, i would guess he cant make the cut at iowa or his grades are bad, maybe the hawks want to show kids around the country hey we dont care what recruit you are if you play games or make an *** out of your self we dont want or need you there are plenty of hard working blue collar types out there for iowa to get. And we already know what kf and staff can do with that.

I disagree here. I think if grades were an issue everyone would have known by now. I am guessing that KF saw that we had no realistic shot at landing him, so he did not want to waste his time on him, and decided to move on.
Grades are not why we stopped recruiting him.

what if by some sick design this was cancelled to keep the spot light off Iowa to make the Headlines even bigger come the day he makes his collegiate choice?
as much press as this kid seems to require I could totally see this happening... what better way to get press than shock the world with "and my college choice is going to be.....the University of Iowa Hawkeyes"

If he wanted to be a Hawkeye then all of this drama wouldn't be happening.I'm sure our coaches know what there doing,why waste a trip just for there families ego.
I believe that KF may have had some inside knowledge about SH. Considering a guy by the name of Jonathon Alt is one of his coaches at CDH.
Only two seasons ago we had a player in a leadership position who seemed to think he was entitled to his position....and look how poorly that talented team played together. It may be sour grapes clouding my judgement but I think a guy who goes to NEW YORK CITY to announce his choice of school may not fit in on a TEAM like the IOWA HAWKEYES. Five star recruits are a two edged sword.
