I'm not a huge fan of women's bball, but the gals get a chance at a number one seed tonight in Stanford.

This team has really come on from a rocky start. It nearly picked off Ohio State in the B10 Tournament championship game and was a very young team.

Bob Bowlsby is the AD. It would be a great payback for the Steve Alford screw up.
 
Iowa women are kinda fun to watch. Scrappy, quick, and lotsa ball movement.
 
Cool deal. I should be getting outta night classes right about then. Women's BB definitely fun to watch this year.
 
Thanks. Your post beat mine by 30 seconds. Stanford I think is undefeated but that's why they play the game. This Iowa team has a very promising future.
 
I admit i am pumped! As many of here on you know i follow this team closely...they are a great team and IF they can stay in it early and get the three ball to drop a lot tonight you never know what could happen!

Please don't take offense to this but I hate when Iowa fans say, "Well I'm not a big fan but....". I guess it is the OP title that gripes me a bit.

I have to admit that I have only seen a handful of Iowa WBB games this year but I will keep an eye on this game. I really do not care if it is Iowa WBB or Iowa MBB, it is IOWA BB.

This team is setting itself up to be one of the better ones in Iowa history. Probably not this year but in the next several, look out. If they can add Stokes from Linn-Mar then the opportunities are limitless.

I'm watching. I had planned to watch Leprechaun 4... but I'll make an exception. Anyone who has seen Lep 4 knows the sacrifice I'm making.

I realize I'm going to get a lame judgement from many of you... but never underestimate the power of a truly terrible/hilarious movie.

If thats all you caught you need to check out the game thread... its really not as bad as it looks...

well it is but Stanford has been RED hot... I can't come up with words to describe the first half that Stanford played.
