The virus has already given us an edge because it helped us gain a half game on Purdue's lead. If Purdue finishes 5-2 and Iowa 6-2, I assume the Hawks are in?

Every team is guaranteed a 9th game. Goes by division standings.

Northwestern is actually pretty good, their defense will keep them in every game.

Purdue stinks - Iowa blows them out with a slightly cleaner game. The mistakes just came at the worse moments.

Fitz at jNW usually has a pretty stout defense and some of it is smoke and mirrors with 8 man boxes or 9 man boxes, lots of gap blitzes etc where they take chances.

Hell two years ago I think they won the west or just few years ago.

Fitz knows the Ferentz's are so conservative on offense that he can pressure the hawks all day long and usually get away with it

The Iowa St. game feels like it would have been a loss. Not a big Brock Purdy guy, but he is better than Petras which would be good enough to get the win.
