That was Baers worst game I'd say. But no way am I going to beat him up over it. It's never a lack of effort or preparation with him. Jok it seems like is disinterested in playing defense or even hustling at times. Which irks fans coaches and I'm sure teammates especially. If they don't improve their effort on defense next year it just won't matter what kind of chemistry they have. Rebounding and defense has to improve big time
I think, as others have stated, collectively we see a huge improvement next year on both sides of the ball. Not necessarily because of who we lose or who they are replaced with, but simply because our Freshman will become Sophomores. It's hard for freshman to immediately acclimate themselves into playing as a team especially when we're playing so many of them. Another year in the program and I think we'll get a better idea of how good they really are as opposed to thinking about how good they can be.
