I'm calling it - Wadley 3rd round/Jackson 2nd round

Jackson late 1st
Wadley 3rd
Welsh 4th
Jewell 4th

Jackson is going to bring 32 NFL scouts to Iowa Pro day. I think quite a few guys will rise up the draft from the heavy exposure. This is what happens with Alabama and Ohio State almost every year. I truly believe that with a solid posting of the measurables Jackson could be the #1 CB in this draft. There are no Marshon Lattimore's this year. I think Jackson could go as high as Top 15 with my homer fan side dreaming of Top 10.

I think Jewel could rise up to 2nd round. He will nail his team interviews and is a smart, strong, disciplined, instinctive football player and I just have the feeling someone is going to fall in love with him.

Wadley is another story. He is an elusive runner and was 1 hell of a hawk, but at the end of the day he is still a 190-195 pound RB. This is the day and age of the NFL where half of the running backs in the leauge every season get hurt and miss substantial time. Wadley will have shown that he has some pretty decent durability and that is why I am hoping a team will take a chance going in the 3rd round but I think more realistically 4th and could be as low as 5th.

Please stop with the JJ draft talk. Hawks desperately need him back, next year. Need DK to talk to him about the integrity of returning for your sr season.;)

We are way past the point of that being the best thing for Jackson. You always need a kid as good as Jackson. It is time for Jackson to go make himself a guaranteed multi millionaire. Jackson's draft stock can never possibly get higher than this. I want what is best for the young man and in Jackson's case specifically it is to go now.

Ronnie Harmon played between 200-205 in the pros. And he played for over a decade.

Wadley is our current Harmon. He'll play for a long time in the pros.

The post-game guys on the radio were talking about Jackson coming back next year. I couldn't believe it when I heard it. I thought him going pro next year was pretty much a done deal with the year he's had.

I've heard a couple of low-level analysts talk about him needing to be a little better in zone coverage and more physical in the run game, but everything points to him getting a high grade. I hope for selfish reasons he stays, but will not be surprised or unhappy for him if he leaves early.

The main negative I see for Jackson is he still needs work in zone coverage, especially cover 2. He doesn’t read pattern combinations well and that can put your safeties in a bad spot. Where he goes in the draft will depend on the team and their defensive coverage philosphy. For example probably not a good fit for a Seattle type defense, because they play a lot of zone. Will be interesting to see how he grades out.

Agree with this. I've thought for quite awhile that it's kind of a Catch 22. He plays incredible man-to-man, but no one else does, so that hurts us. He doesn't play great (but he is good) in zone, but zone helps our other guys. The problem is that it away our stud by playing zone. He does need work in zone, I totally agree, but watching in person and just watching the DB's, the safeties are terrible in zone. Really amazing we haven't been burned worse than we have been.

Jackson late 1st to early 2nd. Jewell 3rd-4th. Wadley I would say 5th maybe. He won't be anything other than a 3rd down back, maybe slot.
