Illinois can't really pass. They have some decent rb's with no line. Defensive front CAN be good. If it turns to a game of stacked in the box for both teams on a windy day...... Their QBs are better than M's, you can count on that. They won't have M's QB protective services. They can punt the ball well. They are weak in defensive backfield and have few passing targets on offense. Some LBs are decent.
In a nut shell, they are a lot like Iowa. They don't have Wadley (who KF might not use...ya never know). LB's, maybe one is better than Iowa, but that is all. D line similar but have under performed. Crowd will be decidedly pro Iowa.
Their band is bigger than Iowa's. Student section is better (but they won't be there), but the old ladies aren't nearly as tough as Iowa's.
Gleaned from Champaign sports writers.
Been to some Iowa road games at the stadium. It can be a miserable place to sit on cold days.
If you are bored, this station carries a lot of sports talk. You can hear what Iowa media really thinks of Iowa on this show. Starts weekdays from 3-6 pm

Green Street Campus bars are fun, but it is not safe late at night due to increased gang activity (seriously). Away from Campus, Jupiter's and Billy Barooz are suggested.
