Illinois - that hated border rival

So here we go played a cross border rival. People in the Quad Cities know how much they hate Illinois. Ok, I'm trying a bit too hard.

Riddle me this? If you were the OC this week, how would you attack Illinois?

Illinois has changed QBs this week. Jeff George, son of the former Illini and NFL QB will start. George has looked pretty good in some action this year. He can throw but not run, like the old starter who has dropped to number 3. Look for the #2 to get some action as well.

Illinois has no defense to speak of but have some good players on D. I would play them straight up and not play rope a dope against this team. The offense has a decent RB and a bigger and faster Tim Dodge type receiver.

Illinois has nothing to lose. They have little to keep them from losing unless KF plays rope a dope.

The QB who lost his job was not D1 material.

I seriously do hate Illinois more than any other border schools.

I grew up in extreme SE Iowa, and was forced to watch the local tv out of Quincy ILL, and they always showed Illinois highlights and no Iowa highlights. I hate Illinois.

Everything pretty much needs a lot of work on the offensive end. If I was the OC I would pass first out of 2TE sets to loosen up Illinois pass D and then give a heavy dose of AW, IKM & TY.
