teh delusional illannoy fanbase thinks they're going to get Kevin Sumlin, Mike Leach, or Gus Malzahn.
They'll be lucky to land the current coach of Cincinnati, since that's where their new AD is from and that's where his only connections are.
They just refuse to accept the reality that they are not a desirable place for a good coach, and they have crap facilities and the fan support is a joke along the same lines as indiana, purdue, and teh goophers.

My sources deep within the Illini Loyalty Circle are reporting O'Keefe is running one spot behind Brewster, who is still on the list. They have a team watching flight tracker and I will let you know what I hear. At this point, they are keeping their options open, the new AD is allegedly offering up to $2.5 million per year which I think is low to get O'Keefe. Chuck Long has been scratched from the short list.

The Loyalty Circle guys have asked me to pull strings on a Ferentz for Weber swap, however they will not back down on the $2.5 million annual salary cap, which would leave Iowa on the hook for about $1.3 million of Ferentz's salary, plus we would have to figure out what to do with Weber and his salary, so I haven't elevated it to Barta yet.
