ILL has to win. Ohio State wins the tourney and they may just get seeded ahead of us. ILL already above us. Looks better losing to the champ. Ohio State win is bad for us and not a feather in our cap.

Would you settle for Pearl Washington?

Like Curbelo, the Pearl had a legendary run as a freshman in his conference tournament.

It was a key moment in putting the then fledgling Big East on the map.

But that turned out to be Washington's finest hour. Pearl was no Andre Curbelo.

I think the Lester comp is valid. Especially if he develops an outside shot.

I find it ironic that the coach for Illinoy is looking like Fran screaming and running the court begging for foul calls, the replays are showing the refs. are making the right calls.
