Ihmir Smith-Marsette

Would be great. Just saw a thing that said that Rutgers leads with 5 players in the Super Bowl. Surprised me, not that it has anything to do with Marsette.

Schiano actually did a good job there. They weren't on the verge of being a perennial national power, but were building to be a mid tier program.

Anyone know if this guy would be allowed to run track at Iowa as well? If so, I would think the chance to run for an ascending program becoming known for its hurdlers, to be coached by a former World Championships medalist, and to compete on a state-of-the-art track would carry some weight.

If this kid commits, he's gonna need a major dose of Doyle. Dude needs to beef up..skinny as a rail.
From one of the pics I saw of him I thought the same thing. I'm surprised his mom let's him play football geez. Good luck to him in MN. I don't think we'll miss not getting him

No, not at all. We are stacked with talent at receiver. Even worse, it shows that its quite possible KF is going to be losing recruiting battles with Minnesota.

Perhaps. Time will tell. That kid will have to find out where the weight room is along with the dining hall for a year or so first. I think we were after him as a corner though.. That said I agree with you MN is going to be a pain in our ass recruiting wise going forward.

I don't worry about battles with the goghers. He's a new young coach that is fired up right now. Let's see how successful he is for a couple yrs before we start to worry. I really don't get to excited about recruiting. I've seen to many 2&3 star (that's what the so called experts call them) end up in the NFL. As I get older I have realized there is not much I can do about it so I just set back and enjoy the ride. I would have a terrible weekend when they would lose and I finally realized know matter how bad I felt I know the players feel much worse than l do.
